Wizards Saruman and Gandalf are played by two Mercurial, silver-tongued Geminians - Christopher Lee and Ian McKellen. Lee's solar radix indicates he is probably a double Gemini with his Sun conjunct Vulcanus and the great Aldebaron (favorite in Druidic lore, signs and portents); Vesta, Mercury and probably Luna with his Part of Fortune also in Gemini, set up his ability to lift and cover the veil effectively on screen. His fine Gemini repertoire spans the full spectrum ranging from Hammer productions to Shakespeare and Sir Arthur Connan Doyle's classic Sherlock Holmes.

Sun in Gemini, The Twins - ruler: Mercury, Analytical, Communication of All Kinds, Healing
Angelic Intelligence: St. Raphael, healer, guide, opener of the way
Day of the week: Wednesday
Symbol: The Twins, Castor and Pollux, or Pillars of Hercules; the figures of the twins, Castor and Pollux, as two pieces of wood bound together. This signifies the polarity of mental processes. Also, stars in the constellation refer to a pile of bricks, linked with the idea of masons as builders of the great city.

The sign esoterically Gemini governs the universe breathing in and breathing out – the rhythm of creation – often reflected in the music of India. The sacred syllable, ‘OM’ is linked with the reflex sign Sagittarius, the Archer or Centaur
Tarot Trump: Trump III, The Unveiled Isis, The Empress, The Queen
House System: The Hall and Auditorium
Metal: Quicksilver – Power Gemstones
Gemini governs the following places: depots and stop-over stations, schools, studies, libraries, self-publishing and desktop scans, blogs, wainscots, granaries, mountains, airplanes and associated attendants, weather machinery, storehouses for corn, high positions generally. [include, under Mercury, intersections and dowsed spiritual-power sites].

Mars 22° Sagittarius 57' rx deposited in the Third House when TOB calculated for 2:45 PM
Mars is the planet of action, initiative, and doing things the right way. He also describes the fighting spirit, fight-or-flight, abilities to take a stand [especially with respect to the philosophical - beliefs] and to take action. With Mars in Sagittarius, a dual sign, dynamism is aroused when you have to go ahead instead of retreating. Sometimes a dignified retreat, that is leaving the battlefield without surrendering ground to an advasary, is very impressive to the enemy and can even win their respect if executed with precision. Sagittarius is capable of achieving the desired result using such a difficult battle maneuver. Most lifetime actors who are successful in action-adventure films have Mars well positioned and well aspected in their radix star charts.
After WWII, Lee gained a seven-year contract with Rank Organisation after discussing his interest in acting with his mother's second cousin Nicolò Carandini, the Italian Ambassador. Carandini related to Lee that performance was in his blood as his great grandmother Marie Carandini had been a successful opera singer in Australia, a fact of which Lee was unaware. He made his film debut in Terence Young's Gothic romance, Corridor of Mirrors, in 1948, as his Sun changed from Gemini to the sign following, Moonchild [or Cancer].
In 1948, Lee made an uncredited appearance in Sir Laurence Olivier's film of Hamlet as a spear carrier (marking his first film with frequent costar Peter Cushing, who played Osric). Throughout the next decade, he made nearly thirty films, playing mostly stock action characters.

The Sixth House of the harvest [good karma returns] contains the higher octave of Mercury, the planet of electricity, foresight, and disinterestedness, Uranus. This often brings unexpected or unique opportunities to perform exceptional service and obtain good results. Gives success as a metaphysician, mesmerist or electrician; and through occult, electric or drugless treatments. Attention to detail with regard to wardrobe, home interior, and personal fitness.

The Children of Hurin
From Christopher Lee Web
Mr. Lee has just finished his work on 'The Children of Hurin'. The book was started by JJR Tolkien in the 1920's and completed recently by hs granson Christopher Tolkien. Mr. Lee spent 5 days narrating this audio book for Harper Collins.

The earliest versions of this story by J.R.R. Tolkien go back to the end of the First World War and the years that followed; but long afterwards, when The Lord of the Rings was finished, he wrote a new and greatly enlarged it in complexities of motive and character: it became the dominant story in his later work on Middle-earth. But he could not bring it to a final and finished form. In this book Christopher Tolkien has constructed, after long study of the manuscripts, a coherent narrative without any editorial invention.
The CD audio book is available for order through Amazon (UK)

The Lord of The Rings and Star Wars

Recent contributions to "The Lord of The Rings" and Star Wars have expanded his impressive universal audience. Lee's unique chemistry may be due, in part, to planetary characteristics of combined Saturn (crystallization) and Jupiter (elasticity) in Libra, the sign that searches for the formula or key to the balance of opposites.
Though Tolkien's wizards do not come under the heading of magical practioners as we know them in the world of mortals, there are subtle similarities Lee and McKellen impart to fans of the book. The two wizards of power in Peter Jackson's trilogy, Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White (later 'of Many Colours') were both considered for the title of Chief on The Council of the Wise. Rivalry is suggested between the Saturn [Saruman, Winter, magnetic, metal and mineral wand] and Jupiter [Gandalf, fire, electric, wooden wand] types and brought to the audience with gesture and speech intonation. Sounds of metal, machine, and mayhem rise from Saruman's subterranean laboratory. In keeping with them, the wizard's own voice descends to those deep zones, even when he tries to bring the mountain down on the fellowship of the ring. [Christopher Lee is an accomplished opera singer and is a member of the band Rhapsody.] Gandalf uses his voice to empower and encourage. He takes us to the Shire for Bilbo's party, through lush green and golden fields, in a horse drawn cart while he sings about the joy he feels about life. Birds, children and firework displays accompany him.

Arda Encyclopedia mentions, "The word 'Wizard' has a very specific meaning in Tolkien; it is intended as a translation of istar, and applies only to those Maiar who came to Middle-earth in the Third Age."

Metaphysical tomes refer to the "red eye" in the context of both the hex and the exorcism. The red eyes of the Nazgul horse are balanced by Tibetan archetypal steeds. They carry Justice like the Angel of Death in Exodus. Sent to mete out punishment by trampling the wicked under hooves of brass, they are depicted as huge, with red eyes, breathing fire through their nostrils. The Nazgul horse - an up close look. Movies often use red near the eye to suggest the chemical status of Mars ore within a character. Kurosawa’s "Rhapsody in August" employs the archetypal idea Tolkien links Sauron to, the Trump XVI Lightning Struck House of God. Another script example joined with Revelations spoken by the old west exorcist from "Tombstone" - "I'm coming and hell's coming with me," Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell) backed up by Doc Holiday (Val Kilmer), his eyes perpetually bruised-red at the rims. The renown "Tombstone" Tarot reading by the three wives, the evening after the O. K. Corral, consisted of Trump XVI The Lightning Struck House of God, Trump XV The Devil, and Trump XIII Death. The lethal combination could have been scripted for the fellowship on the second leg of their journey [Mines of Moria] in the first film of the trilogy, "The Lord of The Rings."

A worried Gandalf rides to Isengard to seek counsel from his old friend and leader of their order

The Lord of The Rings: Fellowship of The Ring 4:37

The Ring created by Sauron in the Chambers of Fire, Sammath Naur was the most powerful of the Rings of Power. He only needs the One; for he let a great part of his own former power pass into it, so that he could rule all the others. The One Ring had many names, including the Ruling Ring, the One, Isildur's Bane, The Great Ring, and the Master Ring. By the Ringbearers it was usually just called the Ring. It was destroyed in the Sammath Naur, in the year 3019. Unlike the Seven, the Nine and the Three which each had a gem, the One was a plain golden circle with no markings, but when heated, the Ring showed two lines of a verse known in Elven Lore. The verse is:

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Gandalf escapes Isengard
The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies Sauron banished! Sauron and the nine Ringwraiths
advance against the Lady Galadriel, Lord Elrond, and Saruman the White.

The lines on the Ring written in the language of Mordor, the Black Speech, were:

Ash nazg durbatuluk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash hazg thrakatuluk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul

-The Lord of the Rings, page 271

Many treasures and great heirlooms of virtue and wonder the Exiles brought from Numenor; and of these the most renowned were the Seven Stones and the White Tree... the Stones were divided. Three Elendil took, and his sons each two. Those of Elendil were set in towers upon Emyn Beraid, and upon Amon Sûl, and in the city of Annuminas. But those of his sons were at Minas Ithil and Minas Anor, and at Orthanc and in Osgilliath. Now these Stones had this virtue that those who looked therein might perceive in them things far off, whether in place or in time. For the most part they revealed only things near to another kindred Stone, for the Stones each called to each; but those who possessed great strength of will and of mind might learn to direct their gaze wither they would. Thus the Numenoreans were aware of many things that their enemies wished to conceal, and little escaped their vigilance in the days of their might.

J.R.R. Tolkien, THE SILMARILLION

In 2953, Saruman took keys to the tower of Orthanc, his fortress of power.
He began the chaos in Fangorn Forest that brought about the attack of the
Ents and his undoing. He used the palantir of Orthanc, so that Sauron was
able to trap, deceive, and completely dupe the head of the White Council.

G O L D E N      T I C K E T

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is Tim Burton’s poetic treatment of a modern fairy story version about the "child who finds the magic prize, lamp, gold at the end of the rainbow, movie pass" and so on. Every child hopes to find a Golden Ticket, planted by Willie Wonka [Johnny Depp] in the wrapping of five Wonka Chocolate Bars. Only five contest winners will visit the world famous Willie Wonka Chocolate Factory. The final ticket is unexpectedly found by Charlie [Freddy Hightower] who happily brings Grandpa Joe [David Kelly] on the tour. AND… one lucky ticket holder will win an extra prize - "shazaam". The film is a little people version of instructions for the process of alchemical gold.

The Golden Ticket opens the way. We go inside the great test tube, represented as a fantastic confection factory, capable of manufacturing every imaginable sweet indulgence. Special glasses are provided for the eye candy set that combines fantasy plant machinery with realistic detail, and transcends a computer generated vastness. Each area of the factory is reminiscent of part of an ancient, but universally popular, Elysian world for children.

The temperature is a constant ‘pleasant’ degree and the Oompa Loompas [Deep Roy], who replaced a previous work force [that includes Grandpa Joe] of fifteen years prior, are delightfully sweet, sunny, and very animated. Unfortunately, Wonka’s original business was compromised because of industrial spies, on the look out for his perfect candy formula and part of him is still "stuck" in that moment. Charlie helps Willie Wonka return to present time by asking questions that jog his memory.

We enjoy the spinning, weaving, and cutting threads in the back story as part of a visual extravaganza within zone consciousness – simultaneously - an amusing sensation inside Wonka’s fantastic factory world. Burton combines an exploration in colour using sub-text Dickens [as illustrated by Arthur Rackham, especially the wardrobe], and Jungian archetypal resolution. The latter is provided by unerring Dr. Wonka [impeccably executed by Christopher Lee.] The supporting cast, all developed characters, exude the ideal chemistry. Helena Bonham Carter, Charlie’s mother manages to light up the bleak enclosure the family calls home as we learn Charlie lives in extreme poverty. The pace always advances and everyone in the cast interfaces well with Johnny Depp, who presents his Goethean versatility of thought in a classic blend with the imagination of Tim Burton.

"...Johnny Depp's deliciously demented take on Willy Wonka, the candy man of Roald Dahl's book, demands to be seen. Director Tim Burton surrounds Depp with miraculous visuals of spun sugar and creeping menace... Gene Wilder put a blunt comic edge on Wonka in the underrated 1971 musical version. But Depp goes deeper to find the bruises on Wonka's secret heart. Hint: Wonka's dad (the fab Christopher Lee) was a dentist..."

Count Dooku, Darth Tyranus - Leader of the Separatists
Born 102 BBY (67BrS), Serenno - Died 19 BBY (16:5:20), Invisible Hand, over Coruscant

Legend of the lightsaber

Dooku was a Jedi Master who fell to the dark side of the Force and became a Dark Lord of the Sith, known as Darth Tyranus. Born into a noble family on the planet Serenno, he was the heir to vast wealth and the noble title of Count. Dooku was taken by the Jedi Order as a child and apprenticed to Thame Cerulian. Dooku became a Jedi Knight in his early twenties, and took Qui-Gon Jinn as his first Padawan. The two were quite close in age, with only ten years separating them. When only ten, Jinn had impressed Dooku with his potential. Even though Dooku was still a Padawan himself at the time, he succeeded in convincing Yoda that he and Jinn would be a good match. He later trained Komari Vosa. Dooku was a respected instructor in the Jedi Temple and one of the most renowned swordsmen in the galaxy, on par only with Masters Yoda and Mace Windu.
Dooku was offered a place on the Jedi Council, but he turned it down so that he could remain more independent as a proactive peacekeeper. The Council agreed that his skills made him well suited for such field work. Despite this prior refusal, he was later offered another seat and accepted. Dooku was known as a political idealist and was skilled at resolving disputes throughout the galaxy.
Count Dooku talks to Obi-Wan Kenobi - Star Wars Episode II Attack of The Clones - HD

Dooku spent nearly seventy years as a Jedi, but a disastrous battle on Galidraan shook his faith in the Order and the Galactic Republic... Dooku's growing disenchantment with the Jedi way was sensed by Senator Palpatine, who had been watching Dooku for some time and had plans that required someone with Dooku's reputation, skills, and financial resources. Palpatine was secretly the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, and even before the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY he had held several meetings with Dooku to feel out his opinions and cultivate him as an ally. Dooku's behavior and beliefs as a Jedi had previously been within the scope of Jedi orthodoxy. However, Dooku flirted with the belief that the dark side of the Force could be called upon without personal corruption as his discontent with the Jedi Order grew...
Dooku made several public condemnations of the Senate after the death of his former Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn in a duel with the Sith Lord Darth Maul. This Dathomirian Zabrak was the apprentice of Darth Sidious, raised as a weapon to combat the Jedi Order. Maul's victory was short-lived, however, as Jinn's apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi defeated the Sith Lord by cutting him in half at the waist with Jinn's own lightsaber. Shortly thereafter, Dooku resigned from the Jedi Order, retired to Serenno, and claimed his family title of Count, left vacant by the death of his brother...
After learning that Palpatine was secretly the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, Dooku turned to the dark side and became a Dark Lord of the Sith himself, replacing Darth Maul as Sidious's second apprentice...

As the political leader of the Confederacy, Dooku led the organization against the Republic in a conflict that would become known as the Clone Wars...
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) Deleted Padme and Anakin visit her home, Interrogation of Padme by Count Dooku

The war culminated in a great battle over the Republic capital of Coruscant. In a duel aboard the Separatist flagship Invisible Hand, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker defeated Dooku. Skywalker then executed the dismembered and helpless Dooku at the instigation of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, Tyranus's own Sith Master. He would quickly be replaced by the very man who had killed him, Anakin Skywalker, who would soon fall to the dark side and be transformed into the fearsome Darth Vader.
